Once again this year, in the run-up to Christmas, CPS staff held an in-office foodbank collection for two local community foodbanks, Drumchapel Foodbank and St Gregory’s Church in Maryhill. It’s more important than ever to remember those in need so we were delighted to continue helping the local community.
Maryhill foodbank is based in St Gregory’s church in Wyndford, Maryhill. The foodbank helps so many families in the Maryhill area, specifically the homeless and refugees who have been provided with temporary accommodation in the flats across from the foodbank.
Drumchapel foodbank is based in Ladyloan Place, Drumchapel. In December 2020, the foodbank distributed 1,768 emergency food parcels to people and families in need in their local community.
“CPS Research have been at the heart of the community for over 30 years and consider it a privilege to assist both the Drumchapel Foodbank and St Gregory’s Church in any way that we can”
Craig McCallum, General Manager
This year, we also took part in a children’s toy drive, collecting donations of toys, games and books for children of all ages. The gifts are then sorted, wrapped and donated to children and families who are struggling at this time of year.
We are, as ever, thrilled with the response from our staff and we’re always delighted and humbled to help support community champions like this.
