Based in Glasgow and established in 1988, CPS Research has over 30 years of clinical research experience in a wide range of fields, including Pharmaceuticals, Food Supplements and Medical Devices.
We’re very aware of the pressures GP practices are under at the moment. Participating in research can be an effective way to boost income and enhance patient care. We have designed our recruitment process to minimise the time and input required by participating GP practices whilst also ensuring generous payment for your efforts.

If you sign up to become a partner site with CPS Research, your practice will receive £500. In addition to this, you will receive an additional £500 for every new partner site that you refer to CPS Research. Your GP practice can also receive:
- £400 if your practice runs a search on CPS’ behalf for potentially eligible patients.
- £10 for every text message sent out to potentially eligible patients.
- £25 for every phone call made to potentially eligible patients.
- £5 for every letter sent out by your practice.
- £50 – £300 for every randomised patient into our studies referred by your practice.

In addition to the financial benefits you may receive, your patients will also receive additional care. Study participants can often benefit from additional scans, bloods and examinations throughout the study. Many patients feel that this is helpful in assisting them to deal with their conditions.

Some of our studies that we are currently recruiting for, that your patients may be eligible for include:
Diabetic Heart Disease Research Study – https://diabetes.cpsresearch.scot/
Cardiovascular Disease Research Study – https://heart.cpsresearch.scot/
Glucose Control Research Study – https://glucose.cpsresearch.scot/

We hope that working in partnership with you will offer your patients an opportunity to take part in relevant clinical studies, help develop better treatments and of course offer an additional income stream to the practice.
